One thing that has mystified and troubled
men over the ages is the thing we call death. I was once discussing
with an elderly man and He told me that God has given men lots of
knowledge and understanding but He has hidden His face from man on the issue of death.
We all know that in the secrecy of the hearts of all men lies the
fear of death, because men have no idea of their destination having
lived a life in the false illusion that they were flesh and blood
entities. The bitter tears and anguish we see on the face of men at
funerals is a reflection of their fear and preoccupation of the
issue called death. In man's mystification of death they have formed
slogans that suggest that death indeed reigns in humanity; slogans
like "from dust to dust and ashes to ashes", "till death do we
part", "All men must die" etc.
In
this message we will look closely at what death really is, we will
also discover why men actually live in fear of death, we will see
where Hell and destruction generated from and light will be shed on
our deliverance from it's grip.
The first burial recorded in the Bible is seen in
Genesis chapter 3 when Adam died

2:15-17 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into
the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And
the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of
the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of
the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of
it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt
surely die. |

Genesis
3:17-19 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast
hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of
the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt
not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in
sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth
to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till
thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou
taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou
return. |
I will
start off by viewing the fall of Adam in the book of Genesis Chapter
3, but before I go into this message I want those of us who are new
subscribers and probably new to spiritual truths to understand
certain basic things which they ought to know. Firstly We should be
aware of the fact that God has furnished us with His spirit so that
we can understand His deep thoughts and live by them. In
the past we have learnt after the wisdom of men and have therefore
never been able to really arise above the bondages and pains of
Humanity. Why is it so? It is so because all the difficulty we find
ourselves in today is a result of that earthly wisdom of man, so
never expect to solve the problems of humanity by using the cause of
it. The promise of
God to each and every one of us is the spirit of God, even the
Prophets of old prophesied of a great awakening that will come in
the last days, and this awakening occurs as the spirit of God is
poured out upon all men so that they can see the vision of God more
clearly. Joel prophesied about this outpouring of the spirit in the
last days [JOEL 2:27]. This outpouring of the spirit is the
thing that will usher in the deliverance that humanity is groaning
for. No other thing will bring about this deliverance and liberation
upon mount Zion apart from illumination that comes from the spirit
of God.
Our
salvation comes as we listen with our spiritual faculties to the
spirit as it teaches us the deep things of God. Jesus once said the
spirit will teach us all things and then catapults us into a new
perfect world in God where sorrow and every fruit of death is wiped
out. Paul in a letter says the spirit illuminates us on our relation
with God and our inheritance in Him [1 Corinthians 2:7-14].
It is this awareness that causes us to fly on the wings of the
spirit over the shadow of death. This truths might sound puzzling
initially but suddenly you hear the voice of our shepherd beckoning
on us to come up hither.
The
natural religious and earthly minded person can not comprehend these
words of the spirit because He fetches from the spirit of man which
is earthly and in the dark. The learned and instructed among men and
the category of those with many bestseller books in this world
generally do not comprehend these things of the spirit because they
are spiritually discerned. Nicodemus who represents the highly
esteemed and reverenced religious and moral leaders of this world
was not able to comprehend the things His Heaven counterpart (Jesus)
spoke when they came face to face. The advise Jesus gave Him was "Man
Change your thinking, and be born again". Jesus was simply
telling Him to put aside His thoughts derived from the wisdom of man
and put on the mind of Christ which derives it's wisdom from God.
As we
listen to the spirit, it communicates to us using spiritual signs
and symbols. It puts to use the original concept of the things that
are seen to explain the thoughts of God. The whole world and the
things we see in it is simple a big parable pointing to the secret
thoughts of God. Jesus knew this, for this reason He always spoke in
parables using things that are seen to express God's mind on His
eternal kingdom. The bible particularly the old testament, the
gospels and the book of revelation are books loaded with tons of
mysteries for our edification in the faith. All we have to do is
open our ears to patiently hear what the spirit is saying; try to
turn aside from your worries and cares of life to listen. Jesus says
mind how you hear to Him that has more will be given; meaning the
more we hear the spirit of God, the more we are granted light and
entrance into God's kingdom of love, peace, power and joy. So fasten
your seat belts and listen to what the spirit is saying.
SOME LIGHT INTO DEATH AND HELL
In
Adam's transgression by eating of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil, a tree synonymous with the wisdom of this carnal material
age Adam slipped into the realm of death. Adam died because the
fruit He partook of caused Him to lose His true image which is
embedded in the Godhead; this image is a spiritual, incorruptible and immortal
image exactly like God. Adam in His new consciousness empowered by the wisdom of this
age now put on a consciousness of flesh and blood; He cast aside the
glory of the immortal and invisible God by joining Himself to
corruptible man in the form of flesh and blood. In His true
original state he was perfect, holy, righteous He was one with God
until He joined or conformed Himself to the flesh and blood consciousness according to the wisdom of this world.
When He heard the voice of
God in the Garden He hid himself and later explained that He
hid Himself because He was naked. God asked Him, "who told you that
you are naked ?" God was simply saying, "I do not see you as naked,
I see you the way you were in the beginning one with me in glory".
In actually the separation that occurs between God and man in the
Adam-like consciousness is simply in the mind of man, meaning God
does not see a separation neither does He see us as naked before
Him.
At this point Adam had been
ensnared into a flesh and blood consciousness which as we know is
contrary to God and can not please God. Flesh and blood is weak and
can in no way do the will of God, for this reason men can not please
God in their minds no matter how they try, be it with works of
religion or morality. At times men seek to do good and to manifest
love but they really do not have the power to, simply because of the
flesh and blood identity they wear in this world. The inability to
please God in their minds causes what is called condemnation to well
up from within man, it is this condemnation that actually says "you
are naked", "you are unworthy", "You do not love God", "You are an
Enemy of God" etc. The condemnation causes man to slip further and
further away from the realm of light into the realm of outer
darkness. It causes man to lose all boldness and faith towards God.
The
wisdom of this material carnal age is actually the same as the
knowledge of good and evil it is that doctrine that comes out of the
double tongued subtle beast called the serpent. It is that creature
that crawls on the dust and emits poison to destroy men. There is no
physical serpent in a physical garden anywhere this are spiritual
concepts the spirits communicates to man through the manipulation of
things seen. The Wisdom of the serpent is simply the wisdom of man
that rules this world of appearances. We will soon discover that it
is the teachings and the traditions of men that actually draw men
into bondage and death; it is Satan working through men that seeks
to deny us of the crown of life.
The
transgression of Adam was His conformation to this material world
according to the wisdom of this age; in His transgression He losses
His glorious, heavenly and immortal image in the likeness of God for
an earthly mortal image of flesh and blood. Let us bear in mind that
sin or transgression is not smoking, fornication, drunkenness,
jealousies etc; all these are simply fruits of the flesh which man
Joins Himself to in the Adam-like consciousness. Adam died when He
partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, He was driven
away from the presence of God into a dead wilderness condition were
there if no life. In His transgression He was called dust and to
dust He will return or in other words He would be continuously
conformed to dust in that state of transgression. Let us
understand that the dust the bible is referring to here is simply
the flesh and blood consciousness, the earthly material
consciousness that Adam put on in His transgression. Dust also
refers to vanity and waste which can be used to describe anything
that is without a knowledge of the true and living God. The moment
we fail to view the creation in the light of the spirit of God, we
are simply viewing dust (vanity). The creation is there to simply
reflect the glory of the creator and cause us to be richly aware of
Him and to serve Him; but men on the other hand have viewed the
creation without considering the creator and as a result have become
vain in their thinking.
On should ask the question "What is death in the
eyes of God?". We will understand that the shedding of the flesh as
seen in physical death is not true death. True death is revealed in
the fall of Adam in the beginning when He disobeyed God and received
of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam died from the Moment He ate
of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil even though He lived on
in the flesh for a
couple of hundred years after His death. Even though Adam lived, He
was simply a working corpse wandering on the face of the earth. All
men not withstanding their titles and exaltation within the confines
of the systems of men are actually coffins beautifully designed
outwardly for men to see but on the inside dead men's bones. All men
in the Adam-like consciousness died unconsciously by partaking of
the wisdom of this age which has conformed us into a flesh and blood
image and consciousness. In the fall the thing man has lost is the
knowledge of the True and living God. This is the one thing that has
brought about torments and pain in humanity today. DEATH IS THE
DEEP STATE OF UNCONSCIOUSNESS MAN FALLS INTO, UNCONSCIOUSNESS THAT
CAUSES HIM TO LOSS KNOWLEDGE OF HIS TRUE FORM AND ORIGIN IN GOD. THE
RESULT OR FRUIT OF THIS IGNORANCE CAUSED BY OUR UNCONSCIOUSNESS OF
OUR PART IN THE OMNIPOTENT AND OMNIPRESENT ONE IS CALLED HELL.
One might say but I go to
church everyday, I pay my tithes, I fast every day, I am a Pastor, I
hold healing and miracle revival crusades before men with hundreds
of thousands in attendance (So did the prophets of old do) etc. The
truth about it is that very few understand the concept of God, many
have a head knowledge of some form of idol out in the sky ready to
destroy sinners and to reward the faithful. Many do not have an
understanding of their true origin and root in the living God. The
world today is filled with men cut of from the knowledge of the love
of God, they have felt like orphans all alone in a cold world all
because of the realm of death they have slipped into in the
Adam-like state of mind. In the same way a dead man is left ALONE in
the grave to rot and to be fed on sweetly by worms till He is not so
also are the men of this world cut off from the land (realm) of the
living. Forget the hypocrisy of religion or the outward beautiful
presentation that men try to put up, no man can truly praise God in
His fallen state. All men, I mean all men are secretly tormented at
the sense of separation and enmity with the living God. The strong
sense of condemnation and unbelief towards God sparks off an unseen
fire that destroys men continuously. All nations that are far away
from the conscious knowledge of the presence of the living God
through the Adam-like consciousness fall into this destruction. This
is why you notice the destruction of men not just in their physical
bodies but in their mental faculties as they become more and more
reprobate.

nations that forget God. |

Psalm 27:9 Hide not
thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger:
thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O
God of my salvation. |
The
absence of the knowledge of God opens up a mind formed realm of
loneliness with no help from above, with a sense of being forsaken;
this is the realm which is called hell. The feeling of being against
the creator or of not pleasing the creator is enough to drag men
into deep sorrow and destruction.
The dead do not know the
loving-kindness and security of God they are like the man in the
grave cut of from His source.

Psalms
88:3-18 For my soul is full of troubles: and my life
draweth nigh unto the grave. 4 I am counted with them
that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no
strength: 5 Free among the dead, like the slain that lie
in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they
are cut off from thy hand. 6 Thou hast laid me in
the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps. 7 Thy wrath
lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all
thy waves. 8 Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far
from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I
am shut up, and I cannot come forth. 9 Mine eye mourneth
by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon
thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee. 10 Wilt
thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and
praise thee? Selah. 11 Shall thy lovingkindness be
declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in
destruction? 12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark?
and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? 13
But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning
shall my prayer prevent thee. 14 LORD, why castest thou
off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me? 15 I am
afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I
suffer thy terrors I am distracted. 16 Thy fierce wrath
goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off. 17 They came
round about me daily like water; they compassed me about
together. 18 Lover and friend hast thou put far from me,
and mine acquaintance into darkness.

For God so loved the
world that He gave His only son to the world to deliver man
perishing in the pit (Grave) of destruction and to crown Him
with eternal life. Psalm 88 gives us an idea of man in
the Adam-like state of death. He loses all consciousness of the
love of God, He loses all power to sustain Himself and
constantly sinks into the pit of ignorance and death. His soul
is in great tribulation and wrath because He loses a knowledge
of His oneness and inseparability with the omnipresent and
omnipotent one. His alienation from the eternal source plunges
Him into the pit constantly, where Destruction and the powers of
the grave reign over Him. Brethren this is the state of man
today in this world. If we still have a sense of loneliness,
lack, fear or torment then we have not known Him (OR We should
grow more in Him).
In the Adam-like
consciousness we are cast out of the presence of God in light
into outer darkness were knowledge of the true and living God
seizes; all this happens in our consciousness not in some place
somewhere in the sky. In outer darkness, man is then subjected
to the powers of the grave and destruction; He is now tormented
with fears for His tomorrow and for His survival because he is
orphaned; cut off from His source which is the Father.
Why should I be angry
with my Dad or Mum after the flesh or some old friend or
relative? I now understand that they too went through the
torments of hell; their states only reflected their orphaned
state of mind. The same goes to humanity today, the cheating,
the hate the jealousies and all the fruits we see in man today
are simply from the troubled state of their souls cut off
from the living God. It is like wandering in this world, not
knowing where they came from and where they are going; they live
in suspense, in fear of the unknown. When you know these
things there is a tendency to begin to sour above the hurts and
bitterness inflected by men; compassion patience and
understanding sets in because you begin to discern your brethren
in the same predicament you were once in.

THE ONE REVELATION THAT SETS US FREE
Jesus said the hour has come
when men lying dead in their graves will hear His voice and come out
of their graves into the light to live. They will arise from the
lower realms of darkness were the powers of destruction never seize
(worms) and they will come forth into the eternal day of the Lord
where they will once more see the face of the Father. As the
shepherd of our souls calls out to His sheep those can discern this
deep signal will enter into eternal life. What is eternal life? IT
IS KNOWING GOD AND THE SON BECAUSE THIS IS ALL WE WILL EVER NEED TO
SUSTAIN US IN EVERY GOOD THING THROUGHOUT ETERNITY.

John
17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the
only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
|
Understand that the "Jesus Christ" mentioned by Jesus in John 17 is
referring to that that eternal spiritual body of Christ of which
each and every one of us are members. Now it is important to discern
this body of Christ which is actually a spiritual that has been
before this world was; that body is the house of God and is in
reality the only expression of God. We all form part an integral
part of that body called Christ and all we all have one Father.
Jesus came to reveal our part in that one body, that is why He says
in my Father's house their are many mansions, meaning we all have a
part in Him because He is the eternal House of the Father.
Apostle John also wrote saying that the gospel is here to reveal Him
that is true and that we are all one in Him that is true who is the
only God. Understand that this is the message of the kingdom, it
reveals that WE ARE IN HIM NOT THAT HE HAS COME TO MAKE US TO BE IN
HIM; WE ARE IN HIM that is from the beginning in the Father. Like I
have explained in the past the beginning is simply that which is
rooted in God who in reality has no beginning nor end. In this
carnal material realm men measure beginnings with time but it is not
so in the realm of God's kingdom because in His kingdom time seizes
to exist, things in that realm simply are the way they are which is
perfect.

1John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath
given us an understanding, that we may know him that is
true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus
Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. |
Brethren
we have to grow in the revelation of our origin in Christ, this is
the revelation that will deliver each and every one of us from the
torments of Hell where this world cut off from the love of God
abides. We will know the truth and the truth will set us free; it
will set us free from the destructive power of death (Ignorance of
the living God). The spirit and the word transports us from one
consciousness to another; it ships us from the consciousness of the
sense of the orphaned, all alone without a Father into a conscious of
pure unlimited knowledge of the Father. This is the rest we all seek
because in the Father we can lack no good thing. The power of the
devil is simply in the ignorance of our fellowship in light with the
Father. The Lord now leads us into a realm or consciousness where we
know that we are in the son and the son is in the Father. This is
the end of the faith.

14:20-21 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father,
and ye in me, and I in you. 21 He that hath my commandments,
and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that
loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him,
and will manifest myself to him. |
The call to obedience in
the faith is that thing which will usher us into that day of the
Lord where all shadows that have hidden our view of God's glory
vanish. In that eternal day we see Him face and hear His
unfailing love and kindness towards Him; in this place we come
realize that all along He never left us but we were darkened by
the influence of this world. The darkness that forms this
chilly world of death is simply the ignorance of ourselves in
the Father, when illumination comes we then know that we are
Christ who is God the Father. The knowledge of ourselves as
Christ in the Father is thing that liberates us from the grip of
the powers of Hell.
HOW
TO GET DELIVERANCE
We have established that
knowledge of the son of whom we are is the thing that sets us free;
this knowledge or ray of understanding comes first as a mustard seed
which is small and insignificant but grows in our patience into that
giant massive tree that provide shelter for the beats of the field.
This means that the belief of our origin in the impeccable son of
God (Christ) who is one with God might seem to drown in the massive
unbelief in our hearts. The massive unbelief in man says that we are
flesh and blood, we are imperfect mortal beings, we are enemies of
God, we are alone and orphaned in this world, we are sinners worthy
of death etc. Some might have this revelation of our inheritance in
Christ and not still feel the security and love of God.
A
brother once called me privately after a preaching session and
humbly asked me, "what should we them do to realize this thing that
I preach". He admitted that what I preach seems true but He does not
know what to do. I reminded Him that He had children and I further
asked Him, "how did He get the children", He embarrassingly told me
all He did was to have intercourse with His wife, then months after
a baby immerged. I asked Him if He knew about the development
process of the child, He said no. I referred to the book of
Ecclesiastes Chapter 11

Ecclesiastes 11:5
As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor
how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with
child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who
maketh all. |
I told
Him that in likewise manner all we have to do is to enter into an
intimate relationship with Father. This relationship is that which
will bring forth that man who is from God's world. As we
commune in the secrecy of our hearts, His light like sperm goes
forth to illuminate our spiritual wombs (our minds) causing the new
creature to spring forth in us. There is no other thing we can do.
The same way the spirit hovered over the darkness in Genesis 1 and
thereafter commanded light to dispel that darkness, in like manner
do we have to allow the spirit of God overshadow us in a spiritual
type of intercourse which causes sons of light to emerge from our
spiritual wombs.
The time has come to set the
Lord continuously before of eyes and to receive counsel continuously
from His spirit. We have to put on the spiritual eye and the
spiritual ear to constantly hear and behold His word as it trickles
in. We must begin to receive spiritual counsel constantly from
the Lord through His spirit. Like the Psalmist would say I have set
the Lord always before me; we ought to begin this work by faith and
enter into that realm of constantly communing in the spirit. We
should see things the way the spirit sees them and hear the way the
spirit says them, no more according to what spirit of man see and
hears. It is the principal of the single eye, as we do this with
patience and endurance we are translated into God's world of perfect
joy and gladness; our souls is the lifted up from the lower realms
of hell and death. We then become consciously aware of His marvelous
grace and love towards us. Yes we become aware of the fact that we
are the holy and incorruptible one of God who can not taste of the
powers of death that reigns in humanity.

Psalm 16:7 I
will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins
also instruct me in the night seasons. 8 I have set the
LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I
shall not be moved. 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my
glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. 10
For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt
thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 11 Thou
wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is
fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures
for evermore. |
After
the patience and endurance through the wilderness of loneliness and
unbelief as we seek this glory we suddenly become aware of our true
perfect and righteous form which we lost to the darkness of this
world. I am careful to put patience here because many people give up
along the line and go back into the darkness of this world only to
suffer more torment and pain. Even a woman who is pregnant with the
fruit of the womb has to go true a period of patience and endurance.
At times there is a tendency to wish you had not been pregnant but
after Her delivery the Joy supersedes all the pain she ever had.
After our patience and endurance through periods where in our
unbelief we felt abandoned, as if we were sowing in vain the Promise
comes forth. The promise is the son who is true emerging in us; in
that day no man can rob you of your joy anymore, meaning the
principalities and powers of this dark age that have enslaved men in
fear and death can no longer touch you.

John 16:20-23
Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and
lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be
sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. 21
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her
hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the
child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that
a man is born into the world. 22 And ye now therefore
have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart
shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. 23
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily,
I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my
name, he will give it you. |
This is the realm where perfect faith is restored and that realm
of duality seizes a realm where all that we ask for come into
existence because we are one with the omnipotent and omnipresent
one. The security and the knowledge of this oneness with God is
the only thing that we ever need throughout eternity. In that
day we will become aware that He never left us we are in Him
inseparable throughout all eternity. Hell has no power over this
union because it is before all things.
